Real Life Faith
Real Life Faith: A Place Where Every Woman Belongs
Real Life Faith, a ministry of St. John Lutheran Church, is a community of support for women of all ages and life seasons.
Connect with other women and grow in faith in one of our small groups.
What Does “Real Life Faith” Mean?
Here’s what Real Life Faith stands for:
- Real – You don’t have to fit in. You belong. (Messy bun & yoga pants allowed!)
- Life – Discover renewed peace & hope to impact your family, work, and relationships in a positive way.
- Faith – As you read the Bible, the Holy Spirit works in your heart to create lasting change in your life.
Our Vision
Every woman in the St. John community (church, school, staff, visitor) has been invited to a group, and there’s space in a group for her.
- We interrupt and impact our family and friends, then the greater Buffalo community, then the world, with God’s goodness, grace, and power.
- How? We make disciples who make disciples.

What Are Real Life Faith Groups?
A group of 6-8 women, facilitated by a trained leader, meets together to read a portion of Scripture, discuss its meaning, and explore how to apply it in a practical way.
Groups meet at different times and locations, often in people’s homes or the community. No prior Bible knowledge is required.

Ever feel like worry is running the show? This fall, Real Life Faith groups of 6-8 women will explore God’s peace when life gets overwhelming through a short passage of Scripture, honest conversation, and real support. Groups meet in homes September through November. No homework and no Bible knowledge required. There’s a spot for you.
There’s no pressure. You are welcome to come to the first session and see if it’s right for you.
